Angus Robertson on Alex Salmond standing to be SNP MP?
The SNP leader at Westminster said Alex Salmond could be an "excellent addition" to what he hoped would be the party's biggest-ever grouping of MPs.
Angus Robertson said membership had "gone through the roof" and the party was polling around 45%-46% for the general election.
He said the SNP was "not prepared to work with the Tories" but could work with other parties on a "confidence and supply basis".
The SNP MP spoke to Andrew Neil on the Daily Politics as Holyrood was about to vote in Nicola Sturgeon as its new first minister.
