Hague: We won't let UKIP let Miliband into Downing St
The UK Independence Party has taken its second seat from the Conservatives, winning the Rochester and Strood by-election in Kent.
Mark Reckless, who had been the Tory MP there until he defected to UKIP, won the seat with a majority of just under 3,000 from the Conservatives.
Conservative leader of the House of Commons William Hague told BBC Breakfast it was important the result was reversed next May: "We're not going to let UKIP let Ed Miliband sneak into Downing Street by the back door. And that is clearly the danger here."
