Mark Reckless sworn in as UKIP MP after by-election win
Mark Reckless has been sworn in as UKIP's new MP after winning the Rochester and Strood by-election, giving the party a second seat at Westminster.
Mr Reckless received 16,867 votes to the Conservative candidate Kelly Tolhurst's 13,947, with Labour's Naushabah Khan third on 6,713 - ahead of the Green Party.
The Lib Dems came fifth with their lowest vote total in a by-election.
