PMQs: Cameron and Miliband on English NHS figures
The English NHS was at "breaking point" said the Labour leader, who spoke of a patient waiting 35 hours in accident and emergency.
But David Cameron said 429,000 people across England were seen by in casualty departments, working out at 3,000 more patients every day than under the last government.
Ed Miliband said the prime minister had closed walk-in centres, introduced a top-down reorganisation and "only a Labour government" could save the NHS. But the prime minister claimed several times that Labour could not run the economy or the NHS.
