Umunna: 'What matters is a smart, enterprising state'

In response to the Chancellor's Autumn Statement, Shadow Business Secretary Chuka Umunna MP talks to the BBC's Andrew Marr about the approach Labour would take towards the national deficit and departmental spending cuts.

He described the Tory-led government as "heartless and hopeless", and added: "What actually matters is whether you've got a smart, enterprising state."
