UKIP's Roger Bird denies candidate's harassment claim

UKIP's general secretary, Roger Bird has denied claims that he sexually harassed a UKIP candidate.

Natasha Bolter, a teacher who used to campaign for the Labour Party, has told The Times that Mr Bird propositioned her over dinner on the day he interviewed her as a prospective candidate.

He has now been suspended over what the party has called "allegations of impropriety".

Norman Smith reports.
