Cameron afraid of TV election debate, says Lord Ashdown
The leaders of Labour, the Liberal Democrats and UKIP have urged broadcasters to hold TV election debates whether David Cameron takes part or not.
Ed Miliband, Nick Clegg and Nigel Farage have written to Mr Cameron saying it would be "unacceptable" for him to refuse to appear.
The chair of the Lib Dem election campaign, Lord Ashdown, says the real reason for David Cameron's refusal is that he is afraid of the cameras.
