Cameron will miss election debates if Greens excluded

The Prime Minister will refuse to take part in TV election debates which do not include the leader of the Greens, the BBC has been told.

He has also told his allies that he would be happy to see no debates at all during the election campaign itself.

David Cameron believes that the public will regard as it as unfair if the Greens are excluded from proposed debates which include the leader of UKIP Nigel Farage.
