Ex Doncaster mayor Martin Winter on Ed Miliband book
A former mayor of Doncaster brings out a prayer mat on television which he claims Ed Miliband gave him after a fire at his home.
Martin Winter described how the future MP for the town, and Labour leader, stayed with him and was given a "very thorough induction into Doncaster".
But Mr Winter said he started to see "questionable" behaviour, and added: "Ed Miliband betrayed me and I walked from the party".
He spoke to Andrew Neil about the claims in his book, being serialised in a newspaper, and offered to take a lie detector, and denied it was a case of sour grapes.
