Nick Clegg: 'No need to increase income tax'

Nick Clegg has set out the Liberal Democrats' economic policy.

Giving a speech in central London, he said his party would increase taxes on the better-off and big businesses.

He said he intended to make £4 billion worth of welfare cuts to help protect public services such as schools and hospitals and to balance the books.
