UKIP conference a 'get Nigel elected' rally

A senior UKIP figure has described the party's spring conference in Margate as a "get Nigel elected" rally.

Leader Nigel Farage is contesting the neighbouring Thanet South seat in May's general election.

He is expected to tell the conference later on Friday that UKIP are on the verge of a major breakthrough.
