Polls still show no political party with a clear lead

With 55 days until the general election, the polls are still showing no sign of either the Conservatives or Labour establishing a clear lead.

After the 2010 general election produced a hung Parliament and a historic coalition government of two competing parties, all the signs point to yet another Parliament with no majority for any single party.

With smaller parties gaining more support, the outcome this time could be more complicated.
