Election 2015: 'Liberal Democrats are here to stay' - Nick Clegg

Nick Clegg has sounded a defiant note at his party's Spring Conference in Liverpool, claiming that "the Liberal Democrats are here to stay".

In his keynote speech, the Lib Dem leader dismissed poor polls and insisted that the party's "resilience" had helped the economic recovery.

He told delegates that it was "because of that resilience that we will defy the odds and win again this May."
