UKIP and Nigel Farage clips: damp rag, weather and golf

His 2010 verbal attack on the EU president, describing Herman Van Rompuy as having "the charisma of a damp rag and the appearance of a low-grade bank clerk", brought Nigel Farage fame when the web clip went viral.

It is one of five moments in a Daily Politics montage that have seen the UKIP leader and his party in the national media.

It also includes a fake weather clip Mr Farage made for the Sunday Politics, after one councillor claimed there was a link between floods and the legalising of gay marriage.
