David Cameron: We must create a truly seven-day NHS

Prime Minister David Cameron has laid out plans for a "seven-day" health service and increased funding for the NHS.

Mr Cameron confirmed his party's election pledge to increase NHS funding by at least £8bn a year by 2020.

Some doctors' representatives have questioned where the money will come from.

Mr Cameron said: "Diseases don't work weekdays nine to five, so neither can we."
