Budget 2015: George Osborne defends living wage pledge

George Osborne has defended his living wage pledge after it sparked a political row.

The Chancellor's plan, which was unveiled in Wednesday's Budget, was described as a "con" by Labour leadership contender, Liz Kendall, while another, Yvette Cooper, said it "falls short" of being a living wage.

Mr Osborne also faced faced questions from BBC Breakfast viewers who claimed his Budget would leave them financially worse off.
