Ministers deny Trade Union Bill a 'declaration of war'

Ministers have dismissed allegations that plans to introduce new rules on strike action amount to "a declaration of war" on trade unions.

Labour said the Trade Union Bill, which was debated at Westminster on Monday, and which roposes higher voting thresholds for strike ballots, is "draconian and counter-productive".

The Trades Union Congress says it's the biggest attack on unions in 30 years.
