George Osborne on Syria action: We'll call vote when we can win it
Chancellor George Osborne said that ministers would begin to set out a strategy to deal with the threat from the Islamic State group this week.
He criticised the vote against military action against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's government in 2013.
Speaking on the BBC's Andrew Marr programme, Mr Osborne said: "We will call the vote, when we're confident we have the numbers to win it".
