David Cameron urges Syria action ahead of vote
MPs will vote later on whether the UK should join in air strikes against the so-called Islamic State group in Syria.
Syrian President, Bashar Al Assad, has been scathing about the US-led bombing campaign against the militants.
Speaking on Czech television he said a year of western airstrikes had not stopped the IS advance, and he insisted that Russia were the only ones making a difference.
