PMQs: Cameron and Corbyn on doctor strike and weekend deaths

David Cameron said Jeremy Hunt's previous claim of 6,000 excess deaths in hospitals actually underestimated the true figure, which should have been 11,000.

He called for an apology from Jeremy Corbyn, and for the Labour leader to withdraw his "totally unjustified attack on the health secretary".

Mr Corbyn called for an apology from the prime minister and Mr Hunt over their use of statistics, and called upon them to come to an "honourable settlement with the junior doctors" ahead of fresh strikes planned over a new contract.
