Leaving EU 'a stride into the light' says Iain Duncan Smith

Leaving the European Union would be a "stride into the light", Work and Pensions Secretary Iain Duncan Smith has told the BBC's Andrew Marr.

He said those arguing to stay in the EU were pessimists acting as if the UK was "too inconsequential" to cope outside.

David Cameron has warned an EU exit would be a "leap in the dark".
