Ken Livingstone on Hitler comments and 'embittered Blairites'

The former Mayor of London Ken Livingstone has said he is "sorry if people were offended" by his comment that Hitler supported Zionism in the 1930s, but maintained that his words were historically accurate.

Labour has suspended Mr Livingstone and announced an independent inquiry into anti-Semitism in the party.
