UKIP: 'Police won't be involved in Woolfe altercation'
UKIP MEP Steven Woolfe does not want "any police involvement" after being hospitalised following an altercation with a colleague in the European Parliament.
Nathan Gill, another MEP, made the claim in a statement to the media in Strasbourg.
The incident, understood to be between Mr Woolfe and fellow MEP Mike Hookem, took place during a heated UKIP meeting.
UKIP's leader in Wales, Neil Hamilton, said he was "disturbed" that the matter would not be investigated by the police.
