Autumn Statement: Chancellor's growth and borrowing figures

The chancellor has given updated growth and borrowing figures for the UK economy.

Philip Hammond told MPs that the growth was set to be 2.1% in 2016, which was higher than forecast in March, but it would slow in 2017.

He said that would be equivalent to the IMF’s forecast for Germany, and higher than France and Italy.
