Former director GCHQ: Trump's claim 'outlandish'
Britain's communications intelligence agency GCHQ has issued a statement denying it wiretapped Donald Trump during the US presidential campaign.
Brian Lord, former deputy director for Intelligence and Cyber Operations at GCHQ, says though it is unusual for GCHQ to respond to allegations so firmly, it is indicative of the "outlandishness" of the claims.
He tells Today that the reported activity "does not fall anywhere close to anything which falls within the constitutional remit of GCHQ."
