Sikh MP Tan Dhesi: Glass ceiling has been broken

Newly-elected MP Tan Dhesi has spoken of his "huge excitement" at becoming the first turban-wearing Sikh voted into Parliament.

Making his maiden speech, the Slough MP described his "sense of belonging" and said he hoped more would follow in his footsteps.
