Hammond on Johnson: 'Everybody is sackable'

The chancellor has described Boris Johnson's comments about a Brexit transition period not lasting "a second more" than two years as a "rhetorical flourish".

Philip Hammond told the Today programme it was up to the prime minister who she allows in in her cabinet but that he always operates "on the principle that everybody is sackable".
