Arron Banks laughs off idea he is 'an evil genius with a white cat'

Arron Banks, chief backer of the Leave.EU Brexit campaign says he is not an "evil genius with a white cat controlling the whole of western democracy" as, he claims, the media likes to portray him.

He told members of the Digital Culture Media and Sport Committee, who are investigating "fake news," that they were "all Remainers" who had a "vested interest in trying to discredit the Leave campaign".
