Starmer on A-levels grades for students in England

The government should “rethink very quickly” its handling of A-level grades for students in English schools, Sir Keir Starmer has said.

The Labour leader said the government “should not rule anything out”, describing its position as a “disaster”.

He said students had been left “upset”, “frustrated” and “angry” and they should be allowed to make appeals, with the fee waived.
