Unemployment: Mims Davies on rising jobless rates

The latest unemployment figures for the UK “sadly show what we already knew," says Employment Minister Mims Davies.

She said the Department for Work and Pensions was “planning for a range of scenarios”.

And she added there had been “a growth again in vacancies” and some people returning to work after the end of the government furlough scheme.
