Boris Johnson on EU talks and no deal Brexit

The prime minister has said it is time to "get ready” for trading arrangements with the EU to be "more like Australia's" from 1 January.

Boris Johnson said the EU had refused to negotiate but it was welcome to "come to" the UK if there was "some fundamental change".

He said it appeared to him that the EU had "abandoned the idea of a free trade deal".
