Victims Law: Bereaved mother in campaign for more rights

A mother whose son was stabbed to death said the treatment of victims like her has been “absolutely horrific” and “inhumane”.

Tracey Hanson is backing a campaign to give victims more legal rights, saying she feels she has been left to “suffer unnecessarily over and over again”.

Each government elected since 2015 has pledged to bring forward a law for victims, but no legislation has been put to Parliament.
