Welby: Politicians need 'forgiveness and compassion' from public

Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, has urged the public to have "forgiveness and compassion" for politicians, amid on ongoing row about lobbying and standards of behaviour.

He said that 19th century politicians would not survive for a week with the amount of scrutiny in today's politics.
