The prime minister has confirmed he intends to scrap most of the remaining coronavirus restrictions in England on 19 July, including the laws on wearing a face mask, as part of the final stage of the government's lockdown roadmap.

Boris Johnson says wearing a face covering will be a matter of "personal responsibility".
