Speaker: It was a dark week for Parliament, says Sir Lindsay Hoyle

Sir Lindsay Hoyle said it was a "dark week" for Parliament when the row over MPs' conduct and Owen Paterson came to the House.

The Commons Speaker said it was for members to decide on any changes that were needed to the standards process.

But he said MPs have "got to move forward" and "move Parliament to a better place".
