Ukraine: Boris Johnson to announce UK sanctions against Russia

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said that the UK will introduce sanctions against Russian economic interests that support the country's "war machine".

It comes after Russia's President Vladimir Putin recognised the two breakaway regions in Donetsk and Luhansk as independent.

The PM is due to announce the "full package" of sanctions in the House of Commons on Tuesday afternoon.
