Johnson defends government record in confidence debate
Boris Johnson said he had "no idea" why Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer "insisted" in holding a confidence motion in the government on Monday.
The Speaker interrupted to say it was in fact the government that called for the motion to be discussed today, after it refused to accept the wording of a Labour motion.
Johnson went on to defend the government's record.
