Labour pledges 13,000 more community police officers
Yvette Cooper has explained her party's plan to reverse cuts in police numbers with a "neighbourhood policing guarantee".
The shadow home secretary suggested cuts in neighbourhood policing had contributed to a rise in anti-social behaviour and knife crime.
She said Labour would recruit 13,000 more neighbourhood police and police community support officers.
