Labour MP Peter Kyle on his acute dyslexia
Shadow Northern Ireland secretary Peter Kyle has told the BBC how his dyslexia affected his education.
He said he realised a burden had been lifted once he accepted the fact that "I'm going to have to work harder than other people to achieve the same".
Speaking to the Political Thinking with Nick Robinson podcast, he recalled an occasion when a teacher found it amusing to ask him to read Shakespeare aloud to the class.
