Burnham on HS2 announcement: We were entitled to better
The Greater Manchester mayor described a "highly frustrating week" over the decision to scrap part of the HS2 project with no consultation.
Andy Burnham said people in the city should have been shown more respect, citing a lack of cross-party talks.
Rishi Sunak told his party conference the HS2 project would be cut back to a section from Birmingham to London Euston, and no longer serve Manchester.
