MP breaks down as she recalls 'terrifying' traumatic birth
A Conservative has made "probably the most personal speech I will ever give as an MP" as she recalled her traumatic experience giving birth to her daughter.
Theo Clarke broke down as she described being rushed into emergency surgery, terrified that she was going to die. She called on the government to do more to help women who go through birth trauma.
Former cabinet minister Andrea Leadsom intervened to praise her for being "immensely brave" in speaking out.
