Starmer calls for UK to match Gaza aid from EU and US
The Labour leader said the help on offer so far to Palestinians was a first step but "nowhere near enough".
Sir Keir Starmer said the EU planned to treble its humanitarian aid and the US was appointing a coordinator for international aid, and he called on the UK to match that help.
He was responding to Rishi Sunak’s statement on Israel and Gaza.
