UK to support Ukraine 'for as long at it takes' - Cameron
The new foreign secretary has taken his first question in the Lords where he was asked about UK’s financial help for Ukraine in its defence against Russia's invasion.
The former PM said Ukraine referred to Britain as “their number one partner”, and that the UK would “continue to give the support that is necessary”.
He was questioned by Lord Robertson, a former Labour defence secretary and later a Nato secretary general, about the lack of additional military aid for Ukraine in the Autumn Statement.
