Starmer confirms end of Labour's £28bn green policy plan
After weeks of speculation, the Labour leader said the party was dropping its flagship spending commitment aiming to achieve climate change and green jobs.
Sir Keir Starmer told BBC political editor Chris Mason most of the party's previous commitments would stay in place, but he blamed the current government for not being able to add further projects to reach the £28bn figure.
He said the only slowing down in the revised plan was over its warm homes commitment.
