UKIP vs CBI on the EU referendum

CBI director Carolyn Fairbairn and UKIP's Steven Woolfe clashed over the EU when they appeared on the Daily Politics.

Mr Woolfe said the CBI - which says its members overwhelmingly want to remain in the EU - had been wrong in backing the euro and had a "conflict of interest" due to receiving funding from Brussels.

Ms Fairbairn said this suggestion was "absolutely ludicrous" and that the funding the CBI received for providing a "small service" for the EU was less than 0.5% of its overall revenue.
