UK would be part of free trade area post EU exit - Gove

Justice Secretary Michael Gove has said the UK would be part of the European free trade area with free access to the EU single market - but free from its regulation - if it left the EU.

Mr Gove also told BBC political editor Laura Kuenssberg the UK would be able to take a seat on the World Trade Organization and press for more free trade deals across the world.

The Leave campaign has come under pressure to set out its vision for UK trading arrangements with the EU and the rest of the world if it were to leave the EU.
