EU Referendum: Who are the Remain campaign?
On June 23 the UK is having a referendum on whether to stay in or leave the European Union.
Jonny Dymond explains who the Remain campaign are.
The officially designated group campaigning to stay in the EU is called Britain Stronger in Europe.
Like the Leave campaign, its supporters are from across the spectrum.
The prime minister’s backing it - and so is Chancellor George Osborne.
Most Labour MPs are in favour of Remain - including leader Jeremy Corbyn - although he’s mainly involved with a different group - called Labour IN.
The Remain campaign is headed by the former chairman of Marks and Spencer, Lord Rose.
Most Liberal Democrats, Plaid Cymru, the Scottish National Party, Sinn Fein in Northern Ireland, and the Green Party are also in favour of staying IN. They’re not all involved in the official campaign group though.
The UK government officially backs staying in the EU.
