Storm wind alert for Scotland

Storm-force winds which could gust up to 90mph have been predicted for parts of Scotland.

The worst of the weather is expected between 15:00 and 18:00 on Thursday.

Police forces have warned travelling conditions will be extremely poor and commuters can expect serious delays.

Transport Scotland has said it is possible all main road bridges could close, causing yet more disruption.
