Teaching union calls to delay new exams

Scotland's largest teaching union has called on ministers to allow all schools the choice of delaying the new exams linked to the Curriculum for Excellence.

The proposal by the EIS follow East Renfrewshire Council's decision to postpone the introduction of the exams for a year to give schools more time to prepare.
