Police warn of high attempted suicide rates in Scotland
Police are warning that the number of attempted suicides in Scotland are "startling".
Scotland's suicide rate is around 80% higher than England and Wales.
Officers in Tayside alone are being called to around 150 attempted or threatened suicides every month.
BBC Scotland's social affairs reporter Fiona Walker has been given exclusive access to Tayside Police records.
